The Vice-Presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yemi Osinbajo,
has said that if his party is voted into power in 2015,
it will not tolerate corruption.
Osinbajo disclosed this yesterday, December 22,
during an interactive session on twitter tagged
# AskProfOsinbajo.
According to him, the failure of the President
Goodluck Jonathan-led administration to tackle
corruption is one the fundamental problems
bedeviling the nation.
He explained that under Jonathan’s administration,
there is no consequence for corruption.
On the issue of Boko Haram, Osinbajo accused the
current administration of politicizing insurgency,
saying the corruption around defence funds has
created a situation where soldiers are not well
equipped and motivated
He stated that the APC is different from the Peoples’
Democratic Party (PDP) as its focus is on policies that
will impact the live of the common man.
Muhammadu Buhari is the presidential candidate of
the APC in the forthcoming 2015 elections and he will
be competing against President Jonathan and other
candidates from other parties.
He chose Prof Yemi Osinbajo , a pastor of the
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) as his
running mate. This has triggered lot of reactions.
Meanwhile, Pastor Tunde Bakare has pledged his
utmost loyalty to Buhari , making it known that he
knows what he is doing and when he supports
someone, he does so fully.
